74922 New York The Century Company 1899 Hardcover Very Good- with no dust jacket
Formerly property of the library but with minimal markings to so indicate. Six months of the magazine bound together by the publisher, The Century Company, in black quarter leather and black cloth-covered boards. Includes the months of November 1898 through April 1899. With 6-page table of contents inserted before first month. Volume very firm and tight; with some yellowed interior pages. Title blocks on spine have mostly fallen off, leather at spine area with a whitish cast and abraded at spine ends. Covers intact and with very light wear. --- Each issue of The Century Magazine includes non-fiction articles and stories, often by well-known authors, as well as dozens of illustrations, photos, poems, and letters.
