Vol. 1 with limitation page featuring a color portrait of Prince Edward (later King Edward VIII) and tissue-protected color frontis illustration and 2 sepia-toned interior illustrations. Remaining volumes with a few color frontis illustrations and with 2 or 3 additional sepia illustrations each vol. Top edges gilt. --- With chafing and ragged cloth to some spine ends, dulling to textblock edge gilding, a little sunning to spines and tears to leaves in about 10 places, mostly due to improper opening of them; but overall interiors are clean, bright and textblocks are firm in this impressive set of works by this early master of the science fiction genre.
