Third manuscript edition, first published by Giuseppe Orioli of Florence in 1928. With prefatory letter by Archibald MacLeish to Grove Press publisher Barney Rosset, and an introduction by Mark Schorer. --- In tan textured paper-covered boards backed in light blue cloth with gilt-stamped spine titling. Simple gold jacket with reviews of this work on back panel. --- With spot of sunning to top edge of cloth and slight soiling to textblock top edge; else a clean, firmly-bound copy.
