With black & white drawings at title page, and with several pages of illustrated advertisements to rear of volume. Cover bears statement "Companion to Murray's Guide". Includes an introduction by Edward P. Hingston. Undated volume, but one of the ads bears 1874 date. --- In gold-tone cloth-covered boards with titling in gilt to cover and spine; fillets in blind to covers. Volume has no dust jacket. --- A partially detached front cover has been has been carefully repaired prior to this listing; and with prior owner's bookplate affixed to to front paste-down, another owner's penciled signature to title page, with mildly rounded cover corners and some sunning to spine, else a sound, tightly-bound copy.
