Translated from the French by Ellen Marriage, with 20 color illustrations by René Ben Sussan and an introduction by François Mauriac. --- In fleurs-de-lis patterned paper-covered boards backed in dark red buckram, with gilt-stamped titling on spine and housed in maroon paper-covered slipcase.
