Though born in New York, Frederic Remington (1861-1909) made his way to the western U.S. and depicted cowboys, Indians and cavalry and others in his highly-regarded paintings, drawings and sculpture. This collection is taken from two collections of this work: the Amon Carter Museum of Fort Worth, and the Sid W. Richardson Foundation collection. Includes 94 illustrations, 60 of which are in full color. Text by Peter H.
