A history of the 111-mile Laramie, Hahns and Pacific Railway Company (often called simply the "Laramie Plains Line") was built to ship coal from mines at northern Colorado's Coalmont (near Walden) to Laramie, Wyoming. The railroad was later reorganized as The Colorado, Wyoming and Eastern Railway Company.
