A catalogue for the traveling exhibition of Winslow Homer's art at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the Museum of Fine Art in Boston and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from 1995 to 1996. Over 200 paintings, watercolors and drawings are displayed, alongside descriptive text by the authors, who were assisted by Judith Walsh and Charles Brock. The works by Winslow Homer (1836-1910) ranged from depictions of Civil War figures, to landscapes, to farm and rural scenes and to seashore scenes and nautical subjects, among several others. --- This hefty volume in full reddish-brown cloth-covered boards with white cover and spine titling.
