With sixty illustrations, "engraved by Andrew, from drawings by Wheelock", and a map of the region. --- In full dark green leather with tooled decorations in gilt to covers, spine and interior edges of covers. With additional rules in blind to covers, and five raised spine bands. All edges gilt, and with marbled endpapers. --- A prior owner's bookplate and sticker have been carelessly removed from front endpapers, leaves are a little brittle (with tears to the first few at front of volume), some discoloration to leather and with external scuffing to leather at front joint, but overall a tightly-bound copy which is holding up well.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; xviii, 403 pages
