First Edition. A portfolio of over 200 photos which tell the story of the trolley cars of the Denver Tramway which ran on Denver streets for eighty years, from 1871 to about 1950. The photos show historic views of the city and momentous events which occurred alongside the tracks. A fold-out offers maps and the corporate structure of Denver Tramway. Laid in are 3 schematic drawings of cars and a timetable, as well as an ad for Otto Kuhler prints of narrow gauge locomotives offered by the National Railway Historical Society. A publication of the Intermountain Chapter of the NRHS. --- In full dark red cloth-covered boards with gilt cover & spine titling. Volume wrapped in white jacket with image of trollies rolling past the State Capitol building to front panel. --- A well-preserved copy, tightly-bound and bright.
