With illustrations by Edward Ardizzone and an introduction by Angela Thirkell. This edition printed for the Heritage Press by the University Press, Cambridge, Great Britain. Sandglass leaflet laid in (New York, no. XI: 19). --- In Ardizzone-illustrated cloth-covered boards with titling in gilt on black spine block. Text presented on buff-colored leaves. Publisher's maroon topstain. Volume housed in black paper-covered slipcase. --- With yellowish darkening to spine and dampstains to textblock top edge & back cover, otherwise volume is in excellent shape with clean, unmarked and tightly-bound interior. Slipcase has a repaired tear along one edge and minor chafing but is now stabliized and structurally sound.
