
Wallace Stevens (1879-1955) was an American modernist poet and business executive who was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1955 for his "Collected Poems." These verses are presented in a deluxe Franklin Library edition with a frontis portrait of the poet by David Hockney. An entry in the publisher's 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature series, issued in conjunction with the Bicentennial of the American Revolution.
