This work was so controversial that it was banned in Boston and New York, and the author was arrested for disseminating 'pornography.' With illustrations by Harry Schaare. Includes a special introductory note by the author. Signed by Mr. Caldwell on a leaf near front of volume. Spine titling, elaborate decorations to covers and spine, and textblock edges all in bright gilt. Interior leaves printed on high-quality papers.
